Adani Enterprises bought from 7,654 unique suppliers in FY 2025-26, by its own integrated annual report, and a new one joins through a two-step Adani vendor registration on SAP Ariba. First you submit an online Expression of Interest (EOI) with your PAN, GST and Udyam details. If Adani’s procurement team shortlists you, an emailed invitation opens a Vendor Registration Questionnaire (VRQ), where you upload three years of accounts and tax returns and sign a labour-law compliance declaration. No registration fee is published. Adani’s only fee warning is about SAP Ariba: keep the free Standard account, because an Enterprise account is charged by SAP and Adani will not pay it for you. Ambuja Cements and ACC buy through named procurement desks listed on their own contact pages.
That count covers Adani Enterprises alone, the group’s arm for airports, roads and mining services. Adani Ports, Adani Green Energy and Adani Energy Solutions use the same route: as read on 2 November 2026, each website’s “Supplier” menu links the identical EOI form, an Ariba supplier login and a Supplier Toolkit page.
Where Adani vendor registration happens
The Adani Supplier Toolkit describes a two-step onboarding process and links two short user guides, one for the EOI (8 pages) and one for the VRQ (14 pages). Both files were created on 29 January 2026. The EOI button opens an SAP Ariba site titled “Adani Procurement Management”. No paper form is published, and www.adani.com itself carries no supplier page in its menu or sitemap.
| Stage | Who starts it | What you give | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Expression of Interest | You, from the Supplier menu | Company name and address, PAN, GSTIN, MSME status, Udyam number | Email: under review, or duplicate profile |
| 2. Ariba account | Adani’s invitation email | A free Standard SAP Business Network account (ANID), product and service categories, service locations | Access to the VRQ |
| 3. Vendor Registration Questionnaire | You, inside Ariba | Tax, bank, owner and director details, four document uploads, two declarations | Email: VRQ submitted, then approved |
Step 1: the Expression of Interest form
The guide asks you to verify yourself first, through an “I’m not a robot” check, before the form opens. The General Details section starts with Type of Supplier (Indian or Foreign) and your registered company name. The name field holds 35 characters, so a longer name spills into two extra name fields.
Indian suppliers then fill a taxation block. PAN is mandatory. GSTIN has a field but carries no mandatory mark in the screenshot. You must answer whether you are registered under the MSME Act, 2006, and if yes, give your enterprise type, Udyam Registration Number and major activity.
After you submit, one of two emails arrives from Ariba. One says the EOI is under review and the team will reach out if it needs more. The other says your firm already exists in Adani’s system and the old profile will be used, so a firm that has supplied an Adani company before gains nothing from a second EOI. Shortlisting is Adani’s call, and the toolkit gives no timeline for it.
Step 2: the Vendor Registration Questionnaire
A shortlisted firm receives an email titled “Invitation: Register with Adani”. It links to SAP Business Network, where you either log in with an existing account or create one. Ariba then asks for your product and service categories and your ship-to or service locations, so pick the states and districts where your machines can actually work.
The VRQ has 11 sections: a data privacy statement, general details, contact details, taxation, banking, order currency, key account manager (owner, proprietor, partners or directors with DIN), environment and safety, enclosures, a compliance and indemnity declaration, and a final declaration. The taxation section asks for TAN, whether e-invoicing applies to you under Rule 48(4) of the CGST Rules, whether section 194Q TDS applies, and whether you hold a nil TDS certificate under section 197. Indian vendors give their IFSC in the bank key field.
The four mandatory uploads shown in the guide are:
- Certificate of incorporation, MOA and AOA, or partnership deed
- Proof of business address
- Balance sheet, profit and loss statement, cash flow statement, notes to accounts and auditor’s report for the last three years
- Income tax returns for the last three years
The compliance declaration names the laws you confirm you follow: the Minimum Wages Act, the Child Labour Act, the Contract Labour Act, ESI and PF, the Workmen’s Compensation Act, the OSH Code, 2020, and the Water and Air pollution Acts. The final declaration accepts physical verification of your firm and says that incorrect or forged information can lead to suspension, termination or blacklisting. A proprietor who pays operators in cash with no PF or ESI records should fix that before signing.
Is Adani vendor registration free?
No fee appears on the Supplier Toolkit, the EOI guide or the VRQ guide. The one cost warning sits in Adani’s own invitation email: a first-time Standard account “is free of cost”, and suppliers are told not to upgrade to an Enterprise account, which SAP Ariba charges for on a recurring basis. Adani adds that it will not be responsible for any fee payments to SAP Ariba on your behalf. If you already use an Enterprise account with another customer, the email asks you not to use it with Adani.
None of the Adani, Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, Ambuja or ACC pages read on 2 November 2026 carried a warning about fake vendor-registration agents. The cement sites do warn customers that they never take advance payments for cement orders. Treat anyone selling an “Adani vendor code” with suspicion and check with the Ariba helpdesk, aribahelpdesk@adani.com or +91 79-25555044, open Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM IST.
Which Adani businesses buy machine work?
Adani publishes no list of the machines or services it hires. Its own figures show where the earthwork, haulage and material handling sit.
| Business | Scale (company’s own figure) | Work a machine owner might see |
|---|---|---|
| Mining services (Adani Enterprises) | 18 MDO service agreements, 145.4 MTPA peak capacity; run rate of 50 MT from six contracts (FY 2025-26) | Overburden, haul roads, backfilling |
| Roads (Adani Road Transport) | 20 projects incl. one ropeway, 13 operational; 4,981 lane-km built by March 2026 | Earthwork, grading, compaction, maintenance |
| Airports (Adani Airport Holdings) | 8 operational airports, 95.3 million passengers in FY 2025-26 | Airside and landside civil works |
| Ports (APSEZ) | 15 ports and terminals, 627 MMTPA capacity | Yard handling, port roads, industrial land work |
| Cement (Ambuja, ACC) | About 113.5 MTPA, 24 integrated plants, 24 grinding units, 125+ ready-mix plants | Limestone mine work, plant cleaning, loading, transport |
Large road and mine packages often go to EPC contractors, and the machine owner works one level down. The routes for two of the biggest are in the guides to L&T vendor registration and Tata Projects vendor registration, and a hire firm chasing Adani work does well to hold both codes.
Ambuja Cements and ACC vendor registration
The two cement companies run their buying differently. As read on 2 November 2026, neither website links the Adani EOI form. Instead, the Procurement tab on the Ambuja Cements contact page lists 12 purchase categories, each with a named buyer, an @adani.com email and an Ahmedabad phone number. ACC’s contact page carries a near-identical list of 12, and several buyers are common to both.
For a machine owner, the useful desks are O and M Services and Outsourcing (on ACC: Operational and Production Services, plus Plant Operation and Maintenance), Outbound Logistics, Mining Energy Power and Liquid Fuels, Maintenance Repair and Operations, Projects Procurement and RMX. Write to the one that matches your work, with your machine list and GST and Udyam numbers, and ask whether they will send you an Ariba invitation. Ambuja’s 2025-26 annual report says it ran Ariba e-auctions for aggregates and sand at select locations and trained vendors to take part, so a quarry or sand supplier may meet the same system from the bidding side.
Ambuja reported 11,305 suppliers in FY 2025-26, 99.21% of them Indian. By value, its BRSR shows 23.56% of inputs sourced directly from MSMEs and small producers; ACC’s figure is 25.63% and Adani Enterprises’ is 26%.
How long Adani companies take to pay
Every listed company reports its accounts payable days in its BRSR, and the 2025-26 numbers vary widely. Adani Enterprises reported 91 days on a consolidated basis (92 the year before). Ambuja Cements reported 89 days, up from 37. ACC reported 38 days, against 33. These are averages across all purchases, not your order’s terms, but they show how much working capital a contract can tie up.
If you hold Udyam registration, the MSMED Act limits an agreed payment period to 45 days, so read the payment clause before you sign. Adani Enterprises’ annual report also says group companies offer vendor financing through the M1xchange and RXIL platforms. Before you add a machine to meet a contract, price equipment finance against the hire rate and the payment cycle.
What a small machine owner can realistically quote for
An owner with one or two machines rarely wins a direct Adani package. Mine and road earthwork wants 20-tonne excavators of the class of the Komatsu PC210-10M0 (20,900 kg, 165 HP, 0.85 to 1.70 cubic metre bucket, about Rs 61.8–68.3 lakh, indicative, as of Nov 2026). Cement plants and port yards load with wheel loaders such as the Liugong 856H MAX (18,350 kg, 3.5 cubic metre bucket, about Rs 61.8–68.3 lakh, indicative, as of Nov 2026). Road maintenance packages need a grader like the XCMG GR1705 (178 HP, 3,660 mm blade, about Rs 61.8–68.3 lakh, indicative, as of Nov 2026).
The realistic first orders are plant-level: loader hire at a grinding unit, clean-up and material shifting under O and M, tipper transport, or a monthly machine at a limestone mine through the mining desk. Bigger work comes after a clean record. Watch open tenders and hire opportunities for the EPC packages on Adani road and airport projects, where sub-hire is common.
The question to put to Adani’s procurement team
Before you file the EOI, write to the Ariba helpdesk or the cement desk for your category and ask: “Will my EOI go to the plant or project where I want to work, and which product and service category should I select so that local buyers see my firm?” The EOI form has no field for a preferred site, and the answer decides whether your registration ever reaches the person who hires machines.
Facts come from the Adani Supplier Toolkit and its EOI and VRQ user guides (January 2026), the supplier menus of the Adani group company websites, the Ambuja Cements and ACC contact pages, the Adani Enterprises and Ambuja Cements integrated annual reports for 2025-26, and the Ambuja and ACC BRSRs for 2025-26, as read on 2 November 2026. Machine prices are indicative and vary by variant, location and date. Portals, documents and supplier terms change. Confirm the current process with Adani’s procurement team before you apply or quote. DesiMachines is not liable for decisions taken on information that may have changed after publication.
