The numbers
The tender value is ₹37,50,00,000 with 270 days to complete. EMD is ₹15,00,000 with exemption allowed, which is only 0.4 per cent of the value, and there is no tender fee. Read the NIT for how the bid security is set, because it is well below the usual 1 to 2 per cent. Bids open at noon on 4 November 2026.
Surfacing an existing track means base correction, then a bituminous or concrete wearing course. Motor graders and vibratory rollers fix the base, a hot mix plant and paver lay the top, and backhoe loaders clear side drains. A wheel loader keeps aggregate moving. Our road construction equipment guide covers the rest. Owners based around Jammu, Akhnoor and Rajouri are best placed to rent in.
