Paradol Nagpur Road Tender: New Railway Line in Chhattisgarh

South East Central Railway has invited EPC bids worth Rs 601.90 crore for a new broad gauge line from the Paradol takeoff point to Nagpur Road station in Chhattisgarh, with bidding open until 27 November 2026.

The alignment runs from KM 947.257 at Paradol to KM 964.820 at Nagpur Road station, which works out to roughly 17.6 route kilometres of new single line. The contractor also has to slew the existing Boridand to Chirmiri line across a short stretch, from KM 946.640 to KM 947.257, so the new formation ties in cleanly at the takeoff. Earnest money is Rs 12,03,79,900, exactly 2% of the estimate, and there is no tender fee.

What the package actually covers

Design sits with the winning bidder because this is an EPC contract, and the 83-file document set shows how much of it is structures rather than plain track. There are general arrangement drawings for more than a dozen bridges across the Chirmiri to Nagpur Road section, four sheets of longitudinal sections, retaining wall and toe wall details, a rail flyover drawing, and station layouts for New Chirmiri, Nagpur Road and the Paradol junction cabin. Price it against the standard EPC tender document read together with Amendment No. 3 dated 9 July 2026, both of which sit in the same download set.

At Rs 601.90 crore with a 2% deposit, the Paradol Nagpur Road tender is a large-contractor package.
