Rewa city is getting a flyover on the Varanasi Nagpur road, and MP PWD’s ₹136.69 crore Rewa flyover tender for it closes at 5:30 PM on 2 November 2026.
From College Chouraha to Dhekha Tiraha
The flyover runs from College Chouraha, in front of the Commissioner’s bungalow, to Dhekha Tiraha, in front of Hotel Vishnu Empire, on the Varanasi Nagpur road through Rewa. The tender comes from the Chief Engineer, Bridge Zone, Bhopal, under reference 01/CRF/2026-27, and it is an EPC contract on a lump-sum basis with 1,095 days to complete.
Three years sounds generous until you remember the site is a main road through the city. Most of the programme will go into foundations and pier work done in short traffic blocks.
Deposit and paperwork
EMD is ₹1,36,69,459, 1 per cent of the ₹136,69,46,000 estimate, and exemption is not allowed. The fee is ₹20,000. Technical bids open on 3 November, five days after closing.
Piling rigs start the job, working inside barricaded bays while traffic passes on either side. Girders are usually cast in a yard outside the city, and heavy cranes lift them at night. Transit mixers need a batching plant close enough to beat the traffic. At ground level, excavators and backhoe loaders shift utilities and rebuild the service lanes, and a roller finishes the approaches.
