Roorkee and Bahadrabad Storm Water Drainage Tenders, Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand’s irrigation department has put ₹161.00 crore of storm water drainage work in Haridwar district out to tender across two packages, both closing on 11 September 2026.

Two drains, one notice, one deadline

Both packages sit under the same notice, reference 11/SE/2026-27 dated 14 August 2026, issued by the Chief Engineer, Irrigation and Flood Garhwal, Dehradun. The larger of the two covers Phase-I of the storm water drainage system for Roorkee city at ₹130.66 crore. The smaller one, at ₹30.34 crore, builds drainage at Bhagat Singh Chowk in the Bahadrabad block of Haridwar city.

They are separate contracts with separate earnest money, so a firm can bid one, the other, or both. The tender fee is the same ₹5,900 either way, and both run on item rate terms over two covers with 90 days of bid validity. A date corrigendum was issued on 3 September 2026 against both packages, which is what moved the deadline to 11 September.

Who this suits

Roorkee at ₹130.66 crore carries an earnest money deposit of ₹1,55,66,000. Bahadrabad at ₹30.34 crore asks ₹55,34,000. Both figures land inside the usual one to two per cent band, so the estimates check out against the deposits.

This is regional civil contractor territory rather than national EPC work.
