Six stone crusher manufacturers in India are covered here, each checked against its own website on 12 October 2026: Kleemann (Wirtgen Group), McCloskey International, Metso, Powerscreen (Terex), Propel Industries and Puzzolana. Two are Indian-owned and build in India: Puzzolana in Hyderabad and Propel in Coimbatore. Metso states a factory at Alwar. Kleemann, McCloskey and Powerscreen sell mainly mobile plants. None of the pages we read publishes a price, so the decision comes down to range, service reach and how quickly the plant can start producing.
A crusher is the most expensive single purchase in a quarry business and the one you live with longest. The maker you pick decides where your jaw plates and cone mantles come from, how long a breakdown lasts, and how much of the year the plant actually runs. So the list below is built around what an owner needs to compare, not around who is biggest.
How this list of stone crusher manufacturers in India was built
We included a maker only if its own website, read on 12 October 2026, listed jaw, cone, impact or mobile crushers and showed an Indian base, an Indian office or an Indian distributor. Every fact below comes from the maker’s own pages, with the date where the maker gave one. The list is alphabetical and is not a ranking. It is not exhaustive either: many smaller fabricators build crushers in India, and a maker missing here has not been judged.
| Maker | Indian base, as the maker states it | Crusher types listed | Mobile or tracked range |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kleemann (Wirtgen Group) | Sold through Wirtgen Group’s India site | Jaw, cone, impact | Yes: mobile jaw, cone and impact crushers, screens, stackers |

What each maker says about itself
Kleemann (Wirtgen Group)
Kleemann is the crushing brand of the Wirtgen Group, which also owns Wirtgen, Vogele and Hamm. The group’s India website lists Kleemann mobile jaw crushers, mobile cone crushers, mobile impact crushers, mobile screening plants and mobile stackers. It is a mobile-plant range, so it fits contract crushing and recycling more than a fixed plant on one lease.
McCloskey International
McCloskey’s website describes a complete range of mobile crushers (cone, impact and jaw), screeners, stackers, trommels and washing systems, and its contact page gives an India office at DLF Cyber City, Gurugram. Like Kleemann, McCloskey is a mobile-plant maker, so check where the nearest parts stock and service engineer sit before you compare prices.
Metso
Metso’s India page (last updated January 2023, when the company traded as Metso Outotec) says it launched operations in India in 1992 and supports its aggregates business with a manufacturing facility in Alwar, a foundry in Ahmedabad, service centres in Bengaluru and Faridabad, and distribution centres across the country. For manufactured sand, its India page lists the Barmac B Series VSI crusher, HRC high-pressure grinding rolls, air classifiers and washing systems.
Powerscreen (Terex)
Powerscreen, part of Terex, says it appointed UMPESL – Voltas (a Tata enterprise) as its first official distributor in India in 2000, and marked the 25th anniversary in a company news item dated 10 August 2025. The same item quotes Jaideep Shekhar, Vice President and Managing Director of Terex Materials Processing, on why track plants caught on: stationary set-ups “required two to three months for erection and commissioning,” and moving them was slow and costly.
Propel Industries
Propel is based at Sulur in Coimbatore and describes itself as the first Indian company with CE certification for crushing equipment. Its product menu covers jaw crushers, AVC and QM series cone crushers, a gyratory cone crusher, roll crushers, vertical and horizontal shaft impactors, track-mounted jaw, cone and VSI plants, track-mounted screens and scalpers, the semi-mobile Profast series, and sand washing systems. Its facilities page describes vertically integrated machining units.
Puzzolana
Puzzolana Machinery Fabricators dates itself to 1964 and is based in Hyderabad. Its company timeline says it engineered and manufactured the first indigenous cone crusher in India between 1992 and 1998 and had installed 1,000 plants in India by 2004-2008. Its About page now states 6,000+ installations across 39 countries and calls Puzzolana Asia’s largest crushing and screening manufacturer, which is the company’s own claim. The range runs from jaw, cone, VSI and HSI crushers to the PTJ, PTC and PTV mobile series and the semi-mobile Speed Bharath plants.
Stationary, semi-mobile or tracked: decide this first
The plant type narrows the maker list faster than any brochure. A stationary plant suits a long quarry lease where you will crush on one spot for years; it needs foundations, a power connection and the erection time the Terex quote describes. A semi-mobile plant, such as Propel’s Profast or Puzzolana’s Speed Bharath, sits in between: wheeled or skid-mounted modules that set up faster and can be shifted when a lease ends. A tracked plant drives onto site and needs no foundations, which suits contract crushing, road projects and demolition recycling where you move every few months. Price all three types at the same output before assuming which costs less.
Which crusher stage you need is a separate question. If you are still deciding between a jaw, a cone and a VSI for your rock and your product sizes, read our guide on jaw vs cone crusher before you send any enquiry.
Questions to put to every crusher maker
Send the same brief to two or three makers, so the quotations can be compared line by line:
- Your rock type, feed size, the product sizes you will sell, and the tonnes per hour you need over a real working shift.
- Where the nearest service engineer and wear-parts stock are, in kilometres from your site, and the stated response time.
- The price and expected life of the wear parts: jaw plates, cone mantles and concaves, VSI tips.
- Erection and commissioning time for a stationary or semi-mobile plant, and what is excluded (civil work, power, conveyors).
- Power need in kW, and whether the plant can run on a generator if the grid connection is delayed.
Wear parts and downtime decide your margin far more than the purchase price does. Our breakdown of stone crusher business profit shows how royalty, size mix and utilisation drive the per-tonne sum, and the stone crusher licence guide covers the zone rule that decides where you can run a plant at all.
The machines that feed the crusher
A crusher is only as busy as the fleet feeding it. A common set-up loads the primary jaw with an excavator and works the stockpiles with a wheel loader. A quarry-spec excavator such as the JCB 385LC Quarry Master is built for that face-loading work, and smaller plants often run a Tata Hitachi EX 210 Infra class machine. Browse wheel loaders for the stockpile side, and see the full quarry equipment line-up by job.
The bottom line
Choose the plant type first, then shortlist two or three stone crusher manufacturers in India whose service and wear-parts network actually reaches your quarry. Indian makers Puzzolana and Propel offer the full stationary, semi-mobile and tracked spread; Metso adds an Indian factory to an international range; Kleemann, McCloskey and Powerscreen lead with tracked plants. Get written quotations against the same brief and compare the wear-parts cost alongside the price.
Once the crusher is settled, size the loading fleet to match it. Compare excavators for quarry work and check equipment finance options before you commit to the plant and machines together.
