The 520X LC is in a different league from JCB's NXT and 225 medium machines. This is a 52-tonne mining excavator built around a Cummins X12 engine — 11.8 litres producing 400 HP. The bucket size is 2.8 m³. Maximum reach is just under 11 metres. The fuel tank holds 657 litres.
