Why? Because the LC frame gives stability for tipper loading, but the narrow shoes reduce ground damage on prepared surfaces. That makes the NXT 205LC a good fit for a specific kind of job: civil work on already-built roads, refinery and power plant complexes with paved internal access, urban infrastructure projects, and any site where the contract penalises damage to existing surfaces.
Heavier, wider-shoe machines can leave grooves or compact the surface, which then needs repair at the contractor's cost. The NXT 205LC threads that needle.
