The Komatsu D475A-5E0 is a 108.4-tonne mining crawler dozer with an 890 HP engine. Its 27.2 m³ blade handles very large material volumes, while tractor-only ground bearing pressure is 128 kPa and reaches about 166 kPa in full operating trim. Two ripper configurations are available for different breaking requirements. The variable giant single-shank reaches 1,744 mm, while the 3-shank multi-shank setup covers wider ground. The choice therefore depends on whether the operation needs deeper breaking or broader coverage. A 1,670-litre fuel tank supports extended working shifts, and 655 mm of ground clearance suits rough mining surfaces. The machine is the largest of Komatsu's listed mining dozers.
