The BEML BD155 is a 38-tonne mining crawler dozer with a 324 HP engine and a 7.9 m³ blade. Its 588 kN drawbar pull provides substantial force for pushing packed ground and overburden. Both giant and multi-shank ripper options are available, allowing operators to choose between deeper breaking and broader ground coverage. Ground bearing pressure of about 89 kPa makes firmer haul-road surfaces a better fit. A 590-litre fuel tank supports long working shifts, while 500 mm of ground clearance helps clear loose rock around the machine. The BD155 is the smallest mining-class model in BEML's range, sitting below the BD355 and BD475-2. Its position makes it useful for operators moving beyond construction-class crawler dozers. Blade options include straight-tilt, angle, semi-U and coal configurations. The coal blade reaches 17.4 m³ for higher-volume material handling.
