The Cat D11 is a 104.2-tonne mining crawler dozer with an 850 HP engine and 34.4 m³ blade capacity. It is the largest of Cat's three mining dozers listed here. Its size is aimed at large coal and metal mining operations where smaller machines cannot maintain the required output. Ripper configurations include specialty leach-pad and 5-shank coal options. Optional counterweights add force where required, while a rear drawbar with counterweight supports towing and stability on steep grades. Ground clearance reaches 798 mm, helping the machine work around rough pit surfaces. Its 1,800-litre fuel tank supports long working shifts with less frequent refuelling. Large-fleet buyers can consider this dozer machine for high-volume overburden and coal-handling work. The blade capacity allows substantial material movement in each pass.
