Why Choose ACE Phantom 2WD

The Phantom 2WD is ACE's volume-play on the Kirloskar 76 HP platform — positioned directly against the JCB 3DX Plus, Mahindra SX IV and CASE 770 at comparable 74-76 HP spec, but typically priced 15-20% lower. The Phantom naming signals ACE's step up from the AX series to a more refined build.
Why does this matter at the mainstream 76 HP class? Because most Indian contractors buy 74-76 HP machines, so the Phantom is essentially the ACE option in the most competitive segment of the market. The upfront cost saving vs JCB/Mahindra runs to several lakhs — meaningful for small and mid-contractor financing math.
Kirloskar 76 HP engine brings the rural-mechanic reach of India's deepest-deployed construction diesel engine family. The 4R1040 block is the same engine that powers pumpsets, gensets and compressors in every taluka — engine-service familiarity is guaranteed anywhere in India.
2WD configuration keeps fuel economy strong and upfront price below the 4WD variants. Suitable for aggregate yards, village road work and general-purpose municipal contracts.
For value-first mid-tier buyers wanting mainstream 76 HP productivity with Kirloskar engine serviceability at ACE pricing, the Phantom 2WD is the considered pick.

ACE Phantom 2WD calculators: on-road price, diesel cost, running cost and buy or hire

Use the ACE Phantom 2WD on-road price calculator, ACE Phantom 2WD diesel cost calculator, ACE Phantom 2WD owning and operating cost calculator and ACE Phantom 2WD buy or hire calculator below. Each starts from the listed price and typical rates; change any figure you know.

On-road price calculator

Where the numbers come from. Our price data means it is the price listed on the DesiMachines model page (indicative, ex-factory), or the average of the listed prices for that type of machine. Market range means it is a rate the market was quoting in 2025–26. Estimate — check means it is our own working number and we have not confirmed it with a dealer, so treat it as a starting point. Standard factor means a standard engineering value, not a price.

Assumptions used in every tool. GST is 18% on earthmoving machines (HSN 8429); tippers and trucks differ. Machine prices are the indicative ex-factory bands listed on DesiMachines model pages, or the average of listed prices for that type; they are not quotes. First-year insurance is taken as about 2% of the price, registration and road tax as about ₹45,000 (wheeled machines only; crawler machines are not registered), handling as about ₹15,000. Loans assume 20% down, 11% a year and 5 years unless you change them. Diesel is taken at ₹92 a litre and a typical burn for the machine class. Every one of these is a field you can change, and the “What we assumed” list under each result shows what the answer used.

Please read. These calculators give an indicative estimate, not a quote. Prices, hire rates, diesel prices, salaries, taxes and interest rates change by state, by season and by buyer. Loan terms and eligibility depend on your bank or NBFC. Resale figures are a band, not a valuation. Confirm the final numbers with our team, your dealer and your lender before you commit money.

Model prices come from the DesiMachines catalogue as it stands today.
